Event Design & Creative Direction





Rye Workshop is looking for a creative, motivated and good-vibes person to join our team as a Junior Designer!


We are looking for a Junior Designer to work directly with our Creative Director in the design and execution of events that are authentic, awesome and inimitable. 

The right candidate will be collaborative, intrinsically motivated, willing to learn with vigor, have an astounding work ethic, being self-motivated and excited to push the envelope.

To be successful, Junior Designers should be an excellent team player, be anxious to learn, be a self-starter that takes initiative,, take direction with humility and curiosity. Ideal candidates be versed in Adobe Creative Suite, know or be willing to learn Google Presentation, have an excellent sense of style. A knowledge of flowers is a plus, but an appreciation is a must. Graphic design skills are a big plus.

START DATE: Immediate, with a 6-week training/ trial period.

Rye Workshop is an event design company with a focus on brands that are looking to connect with their customers on a human level. We help brands to start conversations directly with their consumers about ideas that matter to them, build trust in the relationship, and create ties that last beyond the event. 




  • Populate Pinterest boards and research materials for the Creative Director or Design Manager .

  • Source and research materials and vendors.

  • Keep the office clean and tidy.

  • Help track and support sales leads.

  • Support the staff in the creation of Design One Sheeters, Proposals, Budgets and Floorplans.

  • Assist in all aspects of the design, from computer work to floral work.

  • Assist the Design Manager in on-site production.
